Well done to our Teacher Support running team!by Flora Williamson : 16 March 2010
At the Teacher Support Network offices we are very proud of our four fantastic Adidas Silverstone Half Marathon runners who on Sunday 14 March completed the gruelling challenge of running round the world famous circuit. They didn’t even let the severely strong winds blowing into their face for the last mile stop them – and they all seemed to have smiles on their faces at the end. So to Naomi, Danielle, Jeremy and Hywel, we send you a big congratulations and a massive thank you! Between the four of them they have nearly raised enough money to pay for 40 30-minute telephone counselling sessions. This will allow us to help more teachers in need. If you are interested in running a marathon, half marathon or taking part in a bigger challenge event like walking the Great Wall of China or cycling from London to Paris then contact us here. In particular we are currently looking for runners for the Edinburgh Marathon and Hairy Haggis Relay – you can read more about it here.
