But how can we make sure that resolutions don’t fall by the wayside, and that the New Year can bring genuine improvements to our wellbeing; both physical and mental?
You could try out our Wheel of Wellbeing online tool to help create the ‘new you’. Life's about balance, and the Wheel is designed to help you look at a wide range of areas in your life. By improving the balance between them, you can improve your wellbeing.
It’s an opportunity for you to reflect on the state of your wellbeing and identify areas of your life you would like to change. It’s also interactive, so you’ll need to print out a Wheel of Wellbeing template to fill in while you complete the online exercises.
There are six sections on a whole range of topics. Don't worry! They should only take a few minutes each. We’ll also provide useful information and ideas as you complete the exercise.
If one of your resolutions is to get fit in 2010 you could think about taking on one of our challenge events and help support the charity at the same time. We’ve got places available in the Virgin London Marathon, Adidas Silverstone Half Marathon, Edinburgh Marathon and the Hairy Haggis Relay. Find out how you can take part.
You can find more inspiration in our online InfoCentre. We’re constantly updating the information available, take a look here.
