Cyberbullying affects 1 in 10 teachers, says surveyA third of staff said a manager or colleague was the bullyBy Lucy Rowe : 9 May 2009
Teacher Support Network has been quoted in a Guardian article about the survey it carried out in partnership with the Association of Teachers and Lecturers (ATL). The article quoted statistics from the survey that showed “one in ten teachers are bullied by pupils and colleagues through text messages, emails and social networking sites. “Of those who had experienced cyberbullying, 44% was done by pupils, but nearly a third of staff said a manager or colleague was behind it.” To view the Teacher Support Network and ATL press release, please click here or visit the guardian website to view the full article.
