by Sally Baker : 14 October 2009

Health and Wellbeing in Education is a new event dedicated to improving the health and wellbeing of children and young people in early learning, primary, secondary, specialist, higher and further education.

The event takes place on the 10-11 November in the Birmingham NEC and is completely free to attend for practising education and healthcare professionals and those working in the public and voluntary sectors.

Teacher Support Network Chief Executive, Julian Stanley, will be speaking at the event on Wednesday 11 November. In his speech he will set out the case for investing in staff wellbeing, outline some of the many free or low cost services available and provide attendees with all the information they need to improve wellbeing in their workplace. He will be focussing on how prioritising staff wellbeing can improve recruitment, retention and the reputation of the school.
