Help us to review teacher wellbeing
Get involved in the design and governance of a national review on teacher wellbeing.
"My experience is of a huge crash and burn. Last summer term once Y11 were safely through their exams…my doctor and organisations like TSN helped me to see that my priority must be my own wellbeing because, without it, I cannot function in any of my roles."
This was one of the many comments that we received on our website earlier this year supporting the idea of a review of the wellbeing of the teaching workforce. Teacher Support Network and the Work Foundation are now actively working to establish a review, but we need your help.
To ensure that the review is designed and run as well as possible, we want the people who understand the teaching workforce’s wellbeing better than anyone else – you – to be involved. If you are interested in being involved in the review’s design consultation, governance or focus groups, please click below to find out more and provide your details so we can send you further information.
As another teacher on our forum told us: ‘Low teacher health and wellbeing can have a severe effect on pupils.’ Please lend your support to the review so we can improve understanding and awareness of how to improve wellbeing in schools.
