Elizabeth finds balance through working part-time

My name is Elizabeth Mellors and I’ve been teaching English since 2002; the last years of which have I have spent working part-time. I prefer working part-time because (despite not having a family) I believe that a ‘work life balance’ is important and not always achievable in a full-time teaching position, particularly if you also have a demanding role such as a Head or Second in Department.
