One-third of deprived secondary schools fail inspections

Nearly one-third of secondary schools in the most deprived areas in Scotland are failing inspections. 29 per cent of secondaries in the poorest areas were rated "weak" or "unsatisfactory" compared to an average figure of 10 per cent for all schools.

  • I am sure by now that everyone is aware of the violence and chaos that engulfed the streets of England in the form of mass rioting throughout the past few weeks. However, I am not sure that we all agree with the various explanations and reasons regarding why the events took place.
