Teachers are in the know with TES ResourcesBy Jason Harrison : 1 July 2010
Teachers are in the know with TES Resources Keep in touch with colleagues and what's happening in the teaching world by visiting TES Resources , and sharing the latest tips, ideas and best practice with the rest of the teaching community. Focused on keeping teachers in the know, TES Resources is providing teachers with collections of the most relevant materials. The aim is to support all teachers through highlighting free materials that are useful, timely and, most importantly, relevant to current events. TES Resources has introduced new pages on social networks to give teachers more choice on how to receive updates. You can join TES Connect on Facebook, Twitter and You Tube to hear about the latest news, resources and community discussions as they happen. The site is always improving with new tools to make it quicker for teachers to find the most relevant materials. For example, on the TES Resources homepage, you'll find an Editor's Picks area, updated every week, according to the biggest news headlines or school calendar. This is where the most topical collections can always be found. Just to give you a sample, here's this week's selection of Editor's Picks:
Resources calendar You can also use the Resources calendar to quickly find resources that promote a special event coming up. Here's some examples of events happening in July: You'll see that for August and September there are events ready and waiting to for new resources to be added. Any teaching resource added to the TES Resources website can be tagged, via the easy-to-use upload form. So if you have free, high-quality resources that you'd like to have added to the Resources calendar, please upload your events' resources here. If you have questions or would like to find out more about sharing your teaching materials, please contact the Content team at resources@tes.co.uk To download, search or browse what's available on TES Resources right now, please visit www.tes.co.uk/resources
