Recent EU policy states that we have to let you know where cookies are used and what they are used for.
At the moment we use cookies on the TSN site for the following things:
- Google Analytics. We use this product to look at aggregate information about how people are using the site. Individuals are not tracked (nor can they be).
- Browser capability. Some information that is useful to how the site works - for example there is a cookie set to check if you have javaScript enabled in your browser. There are three of these cookies.
- Web forms. Some of the pages on the site are multiple page web forms - these use cookies to carry information forward from one page of a form to the next.
Individual information about you, the site user, is not kept in any of our cookies. There are no cookies set here that follow you outside of our site, nor do we have any advertising or other tracking aside from Google Analytics on our site.
If you want to check, you can see cookies for a page you are on. All the main browsers have this feature, though it may be hidden in a 'developer' section.
'Do not track' settings
Our site will respect your 'Do not track' settings, specifically you will not be added to our aggregated analytics at all.
'Do not track' is a set of browser plugins that allow you to opt-out of all ad and analytics tracking services and social network tracking.
