Name: Danielle Thompson
Age: 31
Occupation: Production Manager
Event: Adidas Silverstone Half Marathon
Town/County: London
Reason for running: I wanted to support a charity that I felt strongly about. I’ve been lucky enough to have never been affected by cancer or aids or any of the other diseases that so many runners support for charity but I have been affected by teachers…everyone has. They have a tremendous impact and I feel are often overlooked and underappreciated. In addition, as a former teacher, I really appreciate and understand that teachers need and deserve support so couldn’t image running for a better charity.

Stephen Lienert

Name: Stephen Lienert
Age: 36
Occupation: Banking
Event: Silverstone Half Marathon and London Marathon
Town/County: London
Reason for running: My mother was and my sister still is a teacher. I know how much my sister works - often for not a whole lot of recognition. So any support I can help with is surely worth it!

Hayley Ager
Hayley Ager

Name: Hayley Ager
Event: London Marathon
Town/County: London
Reason for Running: I am a Drama teacher at Sutton Grammar School in Sutton and have taught drama for over 6 years in primary, secondary, special needs and adult workshops. I took up running last year for a charity `10k event and enjoyed the challenges it offered and since then have done a couple of halves and now am trying to complete the full one. I wanted to raise money for teacher support network as being a  teacher myself it is a profession I love and want to support and also I had to retrain with my GTP at 27 and could have done with the support and have lost 2 of my mothers close friends recently, both teachers, who with their families would have benefited from some emotional support. So I want to run for teachers everywhere and for the memory of the teachers who inspired me to go into this profession.
