Managing Pupil Behaviour - a Practical Guide

This practical guide will help you to manage pupil behaviour by helping you understand the underlying principles and outlining a range of approaches for you to try in the classroom.

We are inviting expressions of interest from you, to take part in independent research that is being carried out on our behalf. You would be asked to give about 30 minutes or so of your time, either: during one telephone conversation, or over several shorter sessions online.

Kathryn Lovewell, author of ‘Every Teacher Matters: inspiring wellbeing through mindfulness’ has written some top tips to keep your energy high and your focus sharp throughout your day.

Patrick Ryan, a NASUWT Rep from the Midlands, recently attended an Understanding and Managing Stress workshop. We asked him what he thought of it.

David wrote to us to tell us why he is riding the London-Brigton cycle ride for us.

We talk to Angela Roger, Chair of the Board and Claire Price, Vice Chair, about critical discussions around the structure of the charity’s governance.

Noson Cwis Cerddorol

Trefnodd Gwirfoddolwyr Teacher Support Cymru noson cwis cerddorol llwyddiannus yng Nghwmbrân mewn tafarn leol gan ddod â’u teuluoedd â ffrindiau. Colin luniodd y cwis ac a ofynnodd y cwestiynau hefyd, oedd yn cynnwys chwarae cerddoriaeth fyw. Fe barodd pob cwestiwn amser maith gyda phawb yn canu’r gân gyfan yn hytrach na’r cyflwyniad yn unig!

Music Quiz Night

Teacher Support Cymru  Volunteers recently organised a successful  Music Quiz night in Cwmbran at a local pub and brought along family and friends.  Colin devised the Quiz and asked the questions, which involved playing live music.  Each question went on for a while with everyone continuing to sing the whole song, instead of just the introduction!
